One must learn good habits

GETTINGUSED to good habits brings you peace and happiness. It takes time for this process. There are many good habits that we learn from our parents and elders during our childhood. For example, on the basis of my own experience, I still remember that my grandfather used to tell me, put your things in order, and then you would immediately remember where exactly you have put it.It then becomes a reflex action to locate it. If the car-key is kept at one given place, always keep it there. You will never have any difficulty in tracing it. This applies to all your belongings. Keep them at a fixed place. Also make a diary where exactly you have put it. Some times, if there is any hurdle in locating it, look at the diary, and then locate it. There is another example in this context. Never get used to luxuries, because once you get used to these, it is not easy to get away from them. The best example of this is the lotus flower, which goes upwards with the rising water-level. But once the level goes down, the lotus flower just stays there, and does not come down. We must learn from this. Once we are used to luxuries, we will never be able to live our life without them. In fact, nature teaches us many good things of life. It is up to us to learn from nature. There is another example. When the tree grows, the branches droop down, indicating that when we reach the peek in our life, we must me humble. God has really bestowed us with many blessings. It is up to us to justify these blessings!
